The Forum was established in 1985 with the help of likeminded Sikhs by the late Lt. General Jagjit SIngh Aurora, a true Indian Soldier who led the Indian Forces to victory against Pakistan in 1971 war, which led to the birth of a new country - Bangladesh. Its current Global President Mr Ranjit Singh OBE is the Founder President of the Forum.

The Forum is a cultural and charitable organisation and its main aims and objectives are:-

  • Promote the culturak heritage of Sikhism and spread its message of peace, oneness of God and universal brotherhood.
  • Unite the Sikh intelligensia to promote understanding and openness with other faiths.
  • Raise the profile of Sikhs and encourage them to take part in political and public life.
  • Raise funds for charities in Britain and abroad.

The Forum has been organising every year, high profile functions to achieve its aims and objectives. It has been honouring the role models of Sikhs with the award of "Sikh of the Year".

We have been supporting charities in the UK and abroad which include (Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children, The British Army and Prince's Trust.)
